This is an unvarnished and partially unassembled kit that you finish yourself. This console was standard on many 16'/17' classic Boston Whalers from the 60's and 70's. This console can also be used in newer Montauk and Outrage hulls, or any boat that is configured for a center console setup.

Care and Maintenance Instructions

Note: Despite measures such as braces and against grain wood placement, due to the nature of raw wood there will be slight bowing in these pieces. Once assembled the bowing will diminish.

Note: Edges are not required to be sealed however the recommended approach is to use waterproof wood glue or West Systems epoxy on the edges which serves a dual purpose of bonding in addition to the screws making it considerably strong as well as sealing. Red LockTite should be used on finishing screws. 

Depth - front of console to back of console, furthest dimension (bow to stern) - 25" (the bottom panels are inset, which is the portion that fastens to the deck "footprint", which brings this down to 24") (2) 12 gallon Moeller gas tanks can be stowed inside the console.

Width - left to right, furthest dimension - 37" (the bottom panels are inset, which is the portion that fastens to the deck "footprint", which brings this down to 35 1/2") Height - total height from deck to the top of the windshield - 42 1/2".

Height from deck to the top surface of console (platform that windshield is fastened to) - 30 1/4")
